Our vision is a Connecticut that is rich with the high-impact nonprofit leadership necessary to solve complex social problems and strengthen communities.  

The Leadership Development Roundtable (LDR) facilitates intensive leadership development designed for emerging nonprofit sector leaders.  Participants use LDR tools and supports to manage their own leadership development. Collectively, these future leaders will constitute a powerful movement change leaders focused on solving the state’s most pressing problems.

LDR accomplishes its mission by:

  • Providing strengths-based, experiential professional development support to nonprofit leaders, accelerating their leadership development and equipping them with the mindset, knowledge and skills to lead organizations effectively.  
  • Embedding a dedication to continuous learning in their leadership practice.

LDR convenes and facilitates a cohort of qualified, engaged and enthusiastic rising leaders committed to the nonprofit sector and devoted to making an impact in their communities. The cohort model reinforces the “learn-through-doing” approach, providing support and space for reflection.
